ABOUT US

The name members of Schneider Miller Reynolds, P.C. practiced in large law firms before combining our experience and skills in our boutique commercial litigation firm.  We are goal-oriented according to our client’s needs, creatively seeking the best way to achieve the client’s goals. We produce high quality legal work efficiently and economically.  We have amassed, collectively, decades of trial skills which permit us to be focused and zealous in our mission to help clients resolve their business disputes. In addition to having the high quality legal work and expertise of a big firm, our small and collaborative firm enables us to provide individual and personal attention, lower rates, responsiveness, and flexibility to our clients.

Our reputation includes knowledge in the legal community that Schneider Miller Reynolds is ready, willing and able to go to trial for clients, whenever necessary.  But we are counselors as well as advocates.  Our good trial skills foster good results, with or without a trial.  We make sure our clients know all of their options and risks, to help them determine what course of action is in their best interest.  During the course of our engagement, clients and we assess whether putting their business fate in the hands of strangers — judges or juries or arbitrators — is preferable to working toward another business resolution in which the clients have more control over the result.

The attorney/client relationship is based on trust.  We formulate a strategy in consultation with our clients, prioritizing client goals.  Not every case demands the use of all of the discovery tools or other procedures available in state and federal court practice.  We look for the best outcome for our client — not for opportunities to bill the client.

The relationship of trust and confidence our firm develops with our clients is the same relationship we foster with our many friends in the legal community, both outside and in-house counsel.  We are often sought by other firms or attorneys, including the large firms, to provide independent representation of their clients or related parties.  If an officer or director of a corporation has been sued along with the corporation, we may be asked to provide the separate representation of the individual that the situation requires, and work cooperatively with the firm representing the entity.  Referring lawyers know that we are independent and dedicated first to the interests of our individual client, even if the interests of the entity and the individual may diverge later.

We are also in demand for “conflict” work in situations where another firm or attorney has a conflict of interest in a particular case for a client and needs to refer the client to good, but different, lawyers. The referring lawyer or firm knows Schneider Miller Reynolds will do a high quality job in the particular matter.  They have us on their “short list” for referrals and we devote our professionalism to making sure their trust in us is never misplaced.
